My name is Joey Van Benthem, and I began my career in real estate in 2004 at the age of 27. With a background rooted in customer service and sales, I was drawn to this industry because it allows me to truly make a difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s helping a family purchase a home, guiding an investor as they build a portfolio, or assisting a business owner with expansion, being part of such important milestones is a privilege I never take lightly.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of clients across residential and commercial real estate. What I love most about this business is the people. Every client brings a unique story and perspective, and I genuinely value the relationships built along the way. My focus has always been to exceed expectations through hard work, honesty, and a calm, supportive approach. I believe real estate should feel exciting and empowering, not stressful.

In addition to serving my own clients, I proudly manage Avenue North Realty, where I coach and mentor our agents and provide support to them in building and growing their own businesses. Leadership is something I’m deeply passionate about. I am committed to raising the standard of professionalism in our industry by guiding agents with education, strategy, and hands-on mentorship. I believe that when agents are properly supported and well-trained, clients ultimately receive a higher level of service and protection.

I have always considered myself a lifelong learner. While no one can know everything, I am committed to ensuring that my clients and team always have accurate, reliable information. If a situation requires additional expertise, I make it a priority to bring in the right resources quickly and efficiently.
